About Prodlake
Where production experience becomes learning.
Prodlake is the Production Experience Platform — where senior engineers share how production actually works, and the next generation of engineers learns to think under pressure.
Most of what senior engineers actually know — how systems behave under real load, why a certain architecture call was made, how a hard problem actually got debugged — never gets taught anywhere. It lives in people's heads, scattered across companies, usually protected by an NDA. Prodlake exists to make that knowledge shareable, without exposing the systems or data it came from.
How it works
For instructors: Upload video experiences directly, or use AI Studio to generate safe production environment representations — investigation timelines, terminal replays, architecture walkthroughs — that you can record over. AI Studio uses AI (AWS Bedrock / Claude) to reconstruct the environment from a written description, so nothing sensitive from the original system is ever exposed. Watch a live example →
For learners: Access a library of real production experiences — not theoretical exercises. Watch how experienced engineers approach incidents, architecture decisions, and operational challenges. Learn the reasoning, not just the resolution.
Our values
Ownership
Instructors own their content. Always. AI Studio output belongs to the creator who generated it.
Safety
No credentials, no customer data, no NDA violations. Every experience is reviewed before it goes live.
Authenticity
Real stories from real engineers. No fabricated scenarios, no theoretical exercises dressed up as production experience.
Fairness
Transparent revenue split. No hidden fees. Instructors see exactly what they earn and why.
Founder

Shoeb Ahmad Shaikh
Founder, Prodlake
I had years of production knowledge I wanted to share, but every real system I'd worked on was under NDA — I couldn't show the actual dashboards, the actual infrastructure, any of it. So I built a way to reconstruct those environments safely, so the knowledge could finally travel.
